As of this date, we've been there on two separate occasions.
Hot coffee is served in a five ounce cup. Nakokontian kami. Pero mukang ito yung magic amount to savor your coffee ng hindi minamadali ang pag inom. Hula ko lang yun.
Their black or white coffee have double espresso shot by default so we have to sweeten it up with sugar syrup.
I am not. Poser ako eh. Kaya nung sumunod na bisita namin, I opted for the Project Y. Ito yung may citrus aftertaste. We're not sure about the composition but I can recall it has alta mogiana beans. In any case, I think I found my personal favorite.
Their cold brews are nothing too different to its hot variant. Matter of preference na lang ito. Kung mahilig sa malamig na kape, go for it. But at this point, we'll stick with the hot brews.

The first wave pertains to the instant coffee and similar ready-to-prepare variants while the second wave refers to those prepared by the flourishing multinational coffee chains in the country like Coffee Bean (CBTL sa mga konyo), Starbucks (Starbs sa mga konyo), at Bo's Coffee (BC sa mga konyo).
Third wave refers to artisanal coffee.
That said, hindi kami eksperto sa kape but we are a fan of it and we know what we want on our coffee. That's exactly what a noob will only need going to third wave coffee houses like this.

Both waffles we ordered are mmm mmm mmm! The crust is toasted right to our liking and whether it's the 'ice-cream on top' variant or the fruity variant, the sweetness is a nice contrast to our coffee. Also try the equally yummy sandwiches!

Coffee goes from P120 to P180. So mahal.

Watch as how they religiously prepare your coffee. They encourage it. Kaya halos magkasama ang dining area at bar nila. They also conduct seminars and workshops on specialty coffee and are eager purveyors of high standards in the local coffee scene. Dedikasyon!
The place is really bright and homey with mostly wooden decors. Wala pa masyadong tumatambay kaya napaka relax. Fronting the place are huge windows, overlooking the jollijeeps (food carts) outside. Yun lang yung pang sira ng moment. LOL.

May isang barista from another third-wave coffee shop who described Yardstick's interiors to us as "kumo-Korean". An apt description para sa amin.
